Villarreal striker Gerard Moreno: A tough season for me

Villarreal striker Gerard Moreno admits he's had a frustrating season.

Moreno has battled with injury this campaign.

He said, "It is clear that individually it has not been the best season, since I have again had problems with muscle injuries. I keep working to be at my best level, especially physically, which is what is costing me. The good thing is that it has been a good season collectively that we have managed to be in Europe for another year, it is true that the Conference could not be, but in the league we have been good.

What makes me optimistic is the confidence that people have in me, it is what makes me work and get up to try to reach my maximum.
