New Orleans Saints meeting with Mizzou defensive back Kris Abrams-Draine during team's Pro Day

The New Orleans Saints have not traded Marshon Lattimore. Accordingly, they may not move the star cornerback. Only time will tell.

In the meantime, they have shown interest in multiple prospects at the cornerback position.

Missouri Tigers defensive back Kris Abrams-Draine has seemingly piqued the Saints' interest.

They will meet with him on Friday during Mizzou's Pro Day.

Abrams-Draine projects as a slot cornerback in the NFL. That's a role that is a bit touch and go for New Orleans - regardless of the status of Lattimore.

Alontae Taylor played that position for much of last season, but he has proven to be a better outside CB. That being said, the Saints also have Paulson Adebo outside. He played the best football of his NFL career so far in 2023.

Abrams-Draine was ultra-prodcutive during his college days and stood out at the Senior Bowl.

If New Orleans targets a defensive back in round three or four (after trading for a pick somewhere in there), Abrams-Draine would make plenty of sense.
