MLB Rankings - Week 15 - Trade Rumors
Are you ready for a wild upcoming week in baseball?
With the trade deadline of July 31st fast approaching, contending teams are scrambling to see if any available players could be the missing piece to their team's puzzle.
The Texas Rangers already won by stealing ace Cliff Lee from the New York Yankees, who will now join the herd after SP Andy Pettitte fell on Sunday and is out for five weeks.
The Chicago White Sox, Minnesota Twins, San Diego Padres and Cincinnati Reds will now have to deal with a needy Yankees, which is hard to compete with when they are just being greedy.
Roy Oswalt is the hot ticket now, along with Ty Wiggington, Ted Lilly and some names that will surprise everyone.

The Tigers and Colorado Rockies have been replaced in the top 10 by the Reds and the St Louis Cardinals. The Boston Red Sox lost 3 of 4 games to the Rangers, but also their coveted spot in the top five with the Rangers jumping into the three-hole.
The Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays are still the two best teams in baseball, but the reigning champs put some distance beating the Rays 2-1 in games over the weekend.
Ozzie and his White Sox are still in the top 10 for the second week in a row, as the leading AL Central team.
Many teams opened the second-half to brooms, as the Los Angeles Dodgers, Detroit Tigers, Baltimore Orioles, Kansas City Royals and Arizona Diamondbacks all got swept in their first series after the break. The Orioles still suck and Camden Yard is becoming a war zone for the poor O's fans.
Lots of baseball left to be played, as if the first-half of 2010 wasn't dramatic enough. Advice for fans..... better brace yourselves for some craziness to start.
